About us
After over 20 years working in kitchens, and meeting my wife along the way, we are finally home after traveling the world with the Navy for the last eight years. From Sicilian, French Cajun, and English roots living in south Texas and Louisiana, to my time living in the mountainsides of Sicily, we have seen and experienced so much. I hope the food we share with you lets you see into the culture of South Louisiana and the background of its many people. Influences from Indigenous, west African, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Vietnamese traditions, not to mention many more, combine with unique gulf coast spices and ingredients to make a cuisine abundant in flavor and creativity. Cajun cuisine is deeply tied to the land (although solid “land” may be generous, depending where you are south of I-10, or the season, or even time of day!) and to the community. It is always the people that truly make a place, and no one does it better than Cajuns. From the music to the food, we truly believe that you should work to live and eat well along the way.
